I bought a fridge on one of those buy now pay in a year deals, 4 years ago, unfortunately for me i missed the payment deadline by two days and had to pay some interest which i did and was told my account had been settled, but not in writing. i recieved a letter yesterday telling me that i still owed 500 pounds. what can i do?

Call the company and explain the situation. I'd imagine they already started processing the letter before you paid. Just talk to them about it. It's probably just an error.

call the company you got the fridge from and try to settle this peacefully without going to court , im sure you are in their records that you payed
