That depends on how big of a pet you want to have once it is full grown. A Bearded Dragon will end up being about 24-26 inches when full grown, and an anole will be like 8 inches when full grown. The diet is very similar just when bearded Dragons get older they can eat more veggies than they do when they are younger.

If you do not mind that bearded dragons are not small when they grow up, then by all means, a bearded dragon is the best choice. If you prefer something that stays small, is easy to care for, and you don't really want to hold it, then a green anole is your better choice.

Anole's don't have very long life spans at all. Bearded Dragons get a good bit larger though. Do your research and take into account what they both require for living spaces as well. Some reptiles require almost impossible living conditions.

Probably a bearded dragon. Bearded dragons are bigger and more handleable - you can actually take a beardie out of its cage and hold it. Beardies are also, to me anyway, more interesting because of their eating habits (they like salads as well as bugs), and they have fun personnalities. They also do not require as much humidity as green anoles do.
However, beardies are BIG reptiles. They need large cages, a minimum of 4 x 2 x 2 cage. Green anoles aren't so big, and would be fine in a smaller tank. But they aren't really handleable and aren't as interesting. But, they're cheaper.
Really, it's up to you. Research them both and see which you prefer.

depends on the money you have and time and how much you are willing to be with them. The beared Dragon has more of a personality and it will cost a little more. The Anole is a ver simple pet.

It depends on what you want. A green anole is fast but you can't hold it. It might try to bite you. It can also change color. You can hold a bearded dragon, but it grows to a large size. It can't change color.

Move to Florida and you won't need a pet anole. They'll be all over your house!
Other than that, I am in complete agreement with what most of the people here have already said.
