silver but not one of those liquid things, just a very soft powder.

You should try a light blue, preferably shimmering; silver, light grey or a pale green will also look fab. Try out a purple - not too dark. Buy a duo-eyeshadow, and apply the lighter one on the lid, and then the darker colour carefully framing your eye along the lid's edge. You don't state what colour your lashes are, but I gather that they also pretty light in colour. If so, be careful of NOT to use a black mascara, go with something a little softer, like a grey, brownish-grey or - for a night out - dark blue.

My eyes and skin are exactly the same and I realised a long time that we're blessed because we can get away with so much. We can pretty much use any colour, like in the daytime a bronze eyeshadow with light brown liquid eyeliner looks great and gives you that fresh yet elegant look and makes your eyes completely stand out; similarly, at night you can go all out and wear loads of black eyeliner (top and bottom) and use light and dark blue eyeshadow (also dark green) to bring out the colour in your eyes. I say be brave and bold, nothing compliments makeup better than confidence.

Don't limit yourself to certain colours! True some colours will look odd with any given skin tone/eye colour, bu trust me there's a whole rainbow for you to choose from. And what REALLY matters is the colour of your eyeshadown. No point of all these people saying "oh you should wear orange/blue/purple/brown etc." if they don't know whether or not it'll clash with your outfit.
Don't overcomplicate it - stick with subtle shades during the day, and if you're unsure whether or not the colour you've chosen looks good/bad, ask someone you can trust and will tell you honestly, like your mum/sisters/best friends.
Another thing you could always do is book a free make-up appointment with a store (i.e. Debenhams) - they do your make up and reccommmend things that will suit you, and tell you what make-up in general to go for.
Just remember to have fun with it - don't make it a pain or a chore!

I use really really light colors unless i'm wearing something where I feel the need to wear a dark color eyeshadow. But, If you try maybe a sparkly beige color? A light sparkly pink or just a light pink. Stuff like that! I use brown eyeliner on my bottom and I have pale skin and green eyes. So, you might want to use brown or black. You just really have to play around with a lot of different colors. (Mac, Covergirl, & Clinique shadows are the best!)

I have blue eyes n not pale but a paler skin tone and I wear anything but the colors I wear most are browns, blues, pinks, purples, and I LOVE smokey colors. But what looks really good with my eyes would be a pink eyeshadow w/black eyeliner UNDER it(I always do my eyeliner THEN my eyeshadow instead of eyeshadow then liner.) The black eyeliner gives ur eyes definition and the pink eyeshadow over the black liner looks kinda blue-ish so it brings out the blue in ur eyes.

ok so you say your are light skin and have blue eyes right! ok
pale skin likes darker eyeshadow such as
dark blue
dark brown
red
dark pink
just about anything dark
WHY?
because you eye color is also blue so it is a lighter shade
now depending on the cloth your wearing also it looks cutier when you try to match your shadow with your either shirt or pants (thats if your not a jeans person cuz then u be wearing blue shades all the time right? :)
anyway
since you will wear dark colors i would encourage you to make the color lighter as you get closer to your brow so it would end with either a ligher shade of the color or just simply white
oh and use a powder kind don't use liquid

you should use a light brown (not too light, but not too dark) over your entire lid. Then blend in soem peach just above that. For the brown apply it wath a brush. For the peach, use your ring finger. It is the weakest finger so it wont pull at your skin, and eyeshadow bllends welll when you use your finger. If you have pale skin, peachy-pink blush on your cheekbones would look really good. Also for your eyes: lilac and white blended. try different things, but never ever do blue. It wouldn't look very good. Good luck!

It depends what look you're going for. Any smoky colour looks great on blue eyes - browns and greys are good. Not too dark though. DON'T wear blue, it will just dampen the colour that you've got. Green looks great with blue eyes, surprisingly, from bright greens mossy ones. Dusky pink is good, it'll highlight the blue in your eyes, and silvery colours make your eyes sparkle.
A lot depends on the colour of the outfit you're wearing, your hair, the exact shade of your complexion...go with any colour you want to wear, try it on, and it it looks cr*p, don't wear it!
As for where to put it, brush it all over the eyelid. Don't be tempted to put it right up to your eyebrow, you'll just end up looking like a drag queen. If you're going to two-tone eyeshadow, put the darker colour in towards your nose, blending in to the lighter one. Something that looks great if you're going to a party is to take a small amount of the eyeshadow you are wearing onto your pinky finger, and brush it lightly on the underneath outside corner of your eye.
Try not to be too precise when you're putting on eyeshadow, this is easy enough with powdered makeup, but with creams you can again end up looking like Pete Burns. Just smudge the edges slightly with your finger until you've taken away the hard edges.
Anyway, try out lots of different colours, and, if you like them, wear them! It's up to you what you want to wear, and you'll get better at judging colours that suit you. Have fun experimenting!

Actually all colours will suit your blue eyes and pale skin..I have very blue eyes and wear lots of colours...Even blue..Purple will bring more of the blue out but not too heavy unless you want a vampish look. Greys and greens are good too..You dont always have to stick to brown.I find this doesnt work too well for me..Experiment honey..You can always wipe it off and start again.
