I work in a kitchen and, in an attempt to clean the floor underneath the dish machine, one of my co-workers poured delimer. It is a dark brown tile floor, and, when the delimer dried/soaked in, it left a dry, white, powdery residue embedded in the floor. It also gave off a horrible stench. Now, we cannot figure out how to make this problem disappear. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what type of cleaning product to use on this??? Thank you!

I hope the alcohol works! I'm wondering if the tile was burned by the delimer. That would explain the stench, brown and residue. Only cure there is to cut out the burned tile and replace.
