I have rarely seen a film that came even close to doing justice to the book. However, I must give credit to the producers of "The Davinci Code". While reading the book I could not imagine how a filmmaker could come even close to fully representing such a complex plot in a couple of hours of film. They did an excellent job.

So, is dumbing yourself down all THAT attractive?
My answer is:
THE DAVINCI CODE is a better movie than book because Howard is a better director than Brown is an author...
