Several names have been mentioned. Among them; Johnny Unitas of the Baltimore Colts, Joe Montana of the San Francisco 49ers, Bob Griese and Dan Marino of the Miami Dolphins. The book, '50 Greatest Quarterbacks of the NFL' has pictures of Bart Starr and Brett Favre of the Green Bay Packers and John Elway of the Denver Broncos on the cover.

That's a tough question.
Dan Marino was great.
John Unitas was one of my favorites.
Tom Brady is a real winner.
I liked Bart Starr.
Terry Bradshaw has the rings.
Tarkington could scramble and Fouts could really pass.
But, for my money, with the game on the line.... I think I'll take Joe Montana.

Joe Montana. Never threw an interception in a Super Bowl. And won every Superbowl he was in.

Dan Marino was the best ( No ring,sorry) and Joe Montana.If I have to name Elway, I have to mention Phil Simms.But,for me, Dan and Joe.
