well the first bit of advice I can offer is to be yourself from beginning to the end because this person has to get to know the real you and if your not honest from the start then that person will not be able to respect or trust you once they find out how you really are. And besides if someone can't like you for the person you are they are not worth having as a friend. Talk with this person let them know how you feel about them as a friend and if you really like them make sure they know what they mean to you, Friends are priceless. You can not buy a true friend you must earn them with respect and trust. Do you best to celebrate the good times with them through words or actions and be there to support them in the bad times and allow them to do the same for you.
