My BFF is getting grounded for stupid things that she does. One time in school she seen money on the ground in an envelope with a name on it, she opened it and went and bought all kinds of suckers wit it. Another time she went on myspace and made an acount and said she was going to meet this guy when she turned 16 and he is in his 30 or 40 (she is 13 years old). If her parents knew they would ground her forever, I go on her yahoo acount and delete e-mails from myspace and send them someting bak saying "STOP SENDING ME E-MAILS FROM MYSPACE! GO TO HELL!" I barely get to hang out wit her anymore! I need advice to help her! PLEASE!

She never tells me anything she is going to do, I find out after it all happens from her! I tell her that it was not right to do and it was not a bright decision.

you seem pretty young yourself but much more responsible. You are going to have to let her learn the hard way. She is still young and immature and isn't making very good choices, what are you going to do when you get into a big mess and she doesn't do anything to bail you out? There is a limit even to friendship. You can talk to her and try to make her understand that her choices aren;t the best ones and see if that gets to her, but she will have to grow and find out the hard way.

Wow, that's a toughie. She's fortunate to have a friend like you who's got her head on her shoulders. If your friend tells you about any unwise plans she has, hopefully you will be strong enough to tell her that you don't think it's a good idea. Remember: a true friend will always have someone's best interests in mind, not just go along with whatever the person wants to do. If you find out that your friend is planning something that will really get her in trouble, you should tell her parents. She might be mad at you, but you'll feel good knowing that you protected her. (The meeting a 30-year-old guy on myspace thing could certainly qualify.)

honestly i would tell her parents its very dangerous for her to do stuff like that if she is just starting out with these little things what will happen when she starts doing drugs. if she does intend to meet pple from my space she needs to have the understanding that she may not make it back home. and being sneaky about it in that way she has the chance of not coming back and no 1 knowing who she went with or where she is. now i understand u dont want to get her into trouble but think of it this way if you know all this and something happens to her how would u feel knowing that you could have stoped it from happening

THAT can be potentailly very harmful..if shes meeting older men on my space you should tell her parents..even if its anonymously thru a letter. They can monitor her more closely..it would be horrible if something happened to her and you did nothing to try and prevent it.

Your friend needs to help herself. She doesn't want to be any better, and you can't help her. She'll wake up one day and realize you are right and thank you for trying to help. Until then, be a guide by example and pray.
