A seed can be "natural" (or "heirloom"), hybrid, or genetically manipulated (GM). Natural seed is often taken from a portion of a farmer's own crops. Farming tradition has often included the sharing and trading of seed varieties among farmers. Hybrids are a cross of 2 or more crop varieties selected for their positive growing characteristics (such as short growing season, or resistance to heat, cold, or disease). Hybrid seeds are sterile, and must be purchased.

a seed on ones hands looks like nothing ... its looks like a small insignificant thing .. yet once planted into the ground ... it is immediately manifested into having the potential to become something great ... planted in bad ground it wont grow .. planted on soil that appears to be good .. grows then is killed by the weeds ... but a seed planted on good ground will grow and flourish ... becoming something great ... what it is purposed to become.
