I lost my nana when I was 10 and I used to lay in bed and talk to her.. then I would dream about her at night. It wasn't like she was visiting me and talking back or anything.. I would just dream about being at her house and junk. Deep down I like to believe she is with me always.

When My mother passed, I felt a great sense of dread, and new it even though I was working and was very far away. A call from my Brother confirmed the situation. I think that there are many ways that spirits contact us, but are dismissed. Like thoughts that pass into your head about them for no reason, or of warm and cold feelings in specific moments. They are trying to guide you as best they can. Don't try so hard, relax, and open your mind. The signs may become evident to you.

I had a 16 year old cousin who passed away a few years ago. I hadnt seen him in several years and didnt really know him as well as i used (as children were pretty close but we lost touch as we got older)
I was feeling really bad that i hadnt talked to him more and that i didnt know the man he had become. A few nights after his funeral i had a dream about him.
I was crying and telling him i was sorry that i hadnt known him better and hadnt talked to him in a while. I told him i missed him and i was really sad. Then he gave me a big hug and told me it was alright that he knew i loved him and he loved me too. He told me he was fine now and i didnt need to be worried about him or be sad anymore.
I know that all that sounds really cheesey and maybe even like a load of crap but it was the most realistic dream i had ever had in my life ( I was 19 at the time). And whats more than that when i woke up i wasnt sad anymore, because i had gotten to say goodbye and i knew he was okay.
I really think my cousin came to me in my dreams so that i would be okay and that more than anything else helped me get through his death and whenever i think about that dream i smile and say hello to my cousin because i know hes out there.

Absolutely!
It is much too long to detail here, but I have had numerous experiences. As a matter of fact as I write this, my hands are turning cold, and I know it is the chill I get when my Ruby is near. You get signs, you just have not learned to recognize that that is what they are. Every time you think of a loved one, their energy is conjured around you. It's like when you think of someone and the phone rings and it's them...or their favorite song comes on...we are connected on all levels. Energy never dies.

The day after the Christmas that just passed, my aunt passed away.
I lived upstairs from her & since then ive been very depressed but since she passed away i cant go downstairs (duplex) b/c the smell is different & i get chills. my t.v. turned off mysteriously (remote in front of me on coffee table), i hear knocking on my door when i know the door downstairs is locked, i get this weird feeling of panic then a calmness like ive never had before. i can hear her clearing her throat (she always did that b/c she had trouble breathing due to complications from emphazema)
i like to think shes watching.. but im just glad that shes not in pain anymore

in most "traditional" societies, one's ancestors are venerated and looked to regularly for help and guidance. main stream western post industrial culture is so alienated from just about everything of true value that, if it weren't so tragic, it would be laughable. if an "expert" were asked to design a civilization that was more toxic than not, this would be the one. ;-) nevertheless, each of us has the choice whether to follow the "normal" path, or to be brave and creative, and seek a "better" way.
