I primarily always answer pregnancy questions that's why I am asking you guys this.....How can one of your answers get deleted by someone other than yourself? I answered a question this morning and then when I signed on this afternoon, it said I had lost 12 points. I was like....what the heck, so I go to that question I had answered and poof.....my answer had been deleted. I hadn't used in bad language or said anything derogitory...I had only pointed out that the person asking the question seemed to be making stuff up based on their previous questions that I had looked at.

Anyone else had this happen?

Someone reported it as abuse. You will most likely get an e-mail from yahoo answers soon telling you why it was deleted. Someone obvious;y just didn't like the answer. It doesn't have to have anything derogatory in it, just that they didn't like it. Sorry about it hon, I have had it happen to me too.

Yes i've had it happen - and was told it was neither a "question nor an answer" - yet it was several possible answers to a post.

Had the same thing with a question - asked a question with 3 parts - received 15answers and then Yahoo deleted it because "it wasn't a question or an answer".

I appealed and received no response at all - lovely! If such incompetence existed in my company they would have been fired a long time ago.

Wonder if this will be deleted to?! Hmm....

I promise I didn't do this to you, but I have reported an obscene answer (truly obscene) and it was removed. If the person who objected had a good enough reason, they probably removed it! Hope that helps! Sorry it unfairly happened to you!

I asked a question about "can your man go down on you when you are pregnant?" because I was really curious and wanted to know! and some prude person reported me and I got a violation email!
I would like to give that person a piece of my mind.

You can get reported for so many dumb reasons sometimes. It's just the nature of yahoo to be over-conservative.

You were likely flagged for "insulting other participants"

Mind you sometimes totally nasty answers and questions don't get reported.

So, enable me see if I understand this. Canada has sent their courageous women and adult adult males human beings to help u . s . a . of america combat their conflict on Terror. by skill of pointing out they are understaffed and that they dont have the materials to proceed and desire a injury to re-set up, they are actually fodder for ridicule? Umm, you already know Canada incredibly DIDNT would desire to be in contact in this conflict WHAT SO EVER. in line with risk FOX information would experience extra constructive if purely u . s . a . of america fought their very own battles. we could see how humorous that would desire to be. then returned, what do you anticipate from a information Channel who supported George Bush.

Yep. You gotta love Yahoo's method of regulating the posts. If someone gets pissed at you all they have to do is report you. It has happened to me too!

P.S. The religious board is the worst as far as this goes!

someone did my answer like that a few weeks ago. All because there was lots of truth in the way I answered the question.

I have gotten many questions removed and I have been reported for not "answering" a question. Its pretty stupid but whatever I can deal with it

Yeah, it happened to me but thats because i swore like a naughty little boy. I think that little flag next to the "thumbs up/down" gets us sinners into kak, because it reports "abuse". Tattle-tailing softies.
