I want to buy a remote control helicopter for my boyfriend, but I'm wondering which would be best.

I'm looking to spend about 40-50pounds.

Can anyone suggest a site that sells them, and which would be best?

There's a new miniature RC helicopter made by Silverlit, called the PiccoZ (or PicooZ). It's about $30 and can be found at the local Toys R Us. It has fairly simple controls, but is a fun and safe alternative to the larger helicopters which are NOT beginner friendly. Imagine spending $100 on a toy only to kill it on your first crash. For the price, you can get 2 PiccoZ's for fun dualing action! Plus, the Picco Z can be flown indoors.

wal-mart.com
target.com

Lots of hobby sites have some pretty excellent ones you can buy for a beginner. I would reccomend yo buy a gasoline powered one.
