I only cried because I wasn't able to be there with some of my best friends to play paper-scissors-rock to see who got to throw the trap door. My tears quickly dried when I thought about the fact that he's suffering much more now in the dark place he found....makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.

Only tears of joy. How anyone could be sad that this brutal dictator is dead is beyond me. Some people estimate that he killed two million of his own people. He stands with Hitler and Stalin. Why would you cry? Do you even know who he is?

Did you cry for the Iraqi people when they were tortured by this mans regime? Did you cry for then women in the rape rooms? Did you cry as his people starved while he built more palaces for himself. Did you cry for the hundreds of thousands found in mass graves? How about all the Iraqis who died in the war with Iran? How about the Iraqis who died from his use of chemical weapons? Read your history of this evil man and your tears will dry.

Did you cry when you found out Saddam had tortured and murdered thousands and thousands and thousands of his own people?

Absolutely not!!!! I have no reason to feel sorry for that horrible excuse for a human being. He felt no pity for the thousands of innocent people who died by his hand.

Why would we cry? I'll cry when all of our troops get to come home and stop fighting someone else's wars.

Nope. I was a little surprised that it actually happened, and that it happened so swiftly, but I didn't cry about it. I'm wondering why you did.

No. I was pissed cause they let him off to easy. He tortured and killed people, but they let him off with a swift death. I would have tortured him to the brink of death every day for as long as possible.

I was like "ohhhh boy....." more saddened that it was going to cause US troops possibly more death and injury from people freaking out, rather than seeing the guy swing...

I didn't.

But he did bare an UNCANNY resemblance to my ex-father-in-law, who had spent time in jail for breaking the law.

If he did what he'd done, in Iraq, they would have hung him too.
