I guess after I had my son. Now the time seems to be flying by and the troubles I thought I had growing up is nothing compared to now.

This year. At 25. Things change after high school, people grow up, change, die, stay the same, become happy....life goes super fast when you graduate cause you realize you can no longer just sit idly by in a classroom and barely pass. You now have to face the real world and all of its challenges. And you seem so unprepared. Buit by the time you get to about 25, you have either graduated from college or have found a job that has become your career. You have seen enough changes from 18-25 to become either really adapted or really depressed. You want to settle down and have kids or keep going on the life path that you have set out for yourself, but either way you are more mature and have seen enough heartbreak, joy and changes in order to make life good for yourself. Life is good!

30 yrs ago I was discussing how things have changed for the worst & thought " What if these will someday be 'the good old days' ?" Yes those days are now goog old days. So now I just show up, suit up & shut up. In other words " Live in the moment".
The hell with the rest.

When I came to, from a crack bender, and was sitting in a room full of people half my age. I was 29... that's not cool.
I could have been 16 and hooked. Instead I was 29 and waking up. I could be shortening my life like them. Instead I went to rehab.

it hit me a about a year ago. Time flies, however, I do have it very bad and there is no happy end in sight. Everybody tells me it will get better, it cant get any worse, but it does not get better and from the looks of it, it will get worse. Hopefully the new year WILL bring something better.......
