when it comes to politics only there one kind - Mankind, there is no men or women. Politics is a box of candy, one who have put hands inside it must have tasted it. Like that politics is common for men and women. Can you name a female politician who is famous for good at governance? Jayalalitha, Mamtha, Rabri,Mayavathi names are many, Politics is like family business, if Laloo ji is corrupt why can't his wife be a good administrator? There is another gem from tamil nadu; she is acquitted in TANSI, coal corruption case, excess wealth acquisition case etc. Is she women? There can be some exception to that , but what I feel is that when it comes to politics MEN AND WOMEN ARE SAME !

That depends on how you define "smart"... Speaking specifically on the topic of politics, I'd have to say without a doubt, men. Women could be just as smart at politics if they put forth the effort, but studies repeatedly show that the majority of women pay little attention to politics and vote for the same candidate as their husbands/significant others/family/parents... Their votes (when they do vote) are often influenced more by those around them than by research and investigation into the facts.
Obviously some women are smarter than men in politics in the same way that some women are stronger than men or better at other traditionally male-dominated fields.
The fact of the current state of affairs, however, is that the female population of America is not nearly as involved as the male population...

Neither. I know enough men and women over a 57 year period of life to say that either of them could be equally qualified and capable of most any job.
In our relationship, I have more artistic creativity than my wife. She, on the other hand, has greater math skills.
Actually, her IQ is probably slightly higher than mine, but not to any significant amount.
For the most part, we are equals.
She was an honors math student; I was an honors literature student.
I make music; she does the taxes.
We each have our strengths and weaknesses.
Would I welcome a woman president? Absolutely.
Does it matter who it is? Yes and no.

Women could care less about running our government and getting things done --- at least the vast majority prefer to have the CHOICE as to whether to work or stay home.
And, few women have had the motivation to work hard so that men could stay at home while the women bring home the bacon.
Women do the following:
1. Yack about equality. But, refuse to let men be 1/2 of all stay at home parents.
2. Pray to God that they find a "rich" or hard-working man to marry.

I think it could be either. It depends on the characteristics of the male or women. If they are really interested in the politics, they would choose smart moves.

Men are not as easily duped and do not permit emotion to cloud reason nearly as much as women when it comes to politics.
There are a good deal of smart women (and some men) who base their votes on emotion, not reason, and that is disheartening. Women are bigger suckers for a line.
