For me: Louisville, KY (no offense to any nice people who might actually live there.)

It seems to me like Chicago, Los Angeles, Connecticut, Detroit, and Florida would suck also--the majority of the people I've met from those places has not been so nice.

I live in the chicago area and grew up here. We unfortunately are not so nice. Especially people that live in work in downtown chicago. I think the nicest people i have met were in St. Louis and Atlanta and Milwaukee. I also think the Chicago Cubs players were really rude to us when we sat in the bleachers and my little brother who was a life long cubs fan, they completely snubbed. the houston astros players had no problems handing out autographs.

I found the clerks in NYC were very rude but that was many years ago and now my friends tell me that they are much nicer in trying to bring tourists back to the city after 9/11.
