well, im 17, currently a junior in high school, and well im kinda one of the quiet kids in class. Recently i been wanted to be more sociable (with girls), but the shynnes wins me over, i figured that pushing myself to talking to girls more was gonna destroy that shyness little by little but, unfortuanetly theres like almost to no girls in all my classes, and normally when i talk to girls is when they come up to me, but i know thats not always gonna be the case, so i need to start going to them, but i dont know what to say to a "stranger" girl.

1st off im sure u have some type of chick friend so start by talking 2 her if not then just b ur self girls like honest guys sure they probably dont pay attation 2 the shy guys but that bc they know there shy and respect there space but it sound like ur kinda sociable and some girls do talk 2 u so try 2 lenghten the conversation if possisble its OK 2 be shy( thats y im with the guy im with)

First off you have to have confidence in yourself, at first in may be false confidence, but the more and more you do it the falseness will become true confidence. I was shy and am still a somewhat quiet person, but in certain situations I use false confidence to build my true confidence. Relax. Seek girls out that you are attracted to, find out what they're interested in and take part in it. Don't let a "no" from one girl stop you from seeking other ones. Take it slow man, you're 17. So, you start a casual conversation with her. Start with the weather, that is always a good ice breaker...Maybe ask if she is into a sport, you could have the same interests.....I would make sure you have something in common with her, so that you have something to actually talk about....

The cliche police might arrest me for this but WTF... just be yourself and listen to what they have to say, most importan is to act inerested in what they say, don not show any signs of beeing desperate to get to know them, and compliment them.
