Hello, Click on Processes, then click on CPU column to sort by processor usage. It's normal for the System Idle process to be reported as using nearly all of your processor capacity. If another task is consuming the resources, identify it - if you can't, could be a virus or spyware. Occasionally, a legitimate program could have become corrupted. In that case, uninstall it and check again. Good luck!

Did you look under Running Processes to be sure nothing is running? If so then you should start checking for a virus or spy ware.
