Mia, so many questions. I think fidelity is a great idea, but it doesn't seem to work and it's not that people want to be unfaithful, it's that men and women and lured by that man or woman that just knocks your socks off and short circuits your brain.

Is it love? Sometimes, but not always. It could be the best escape mechanism and a bastion of safety for you. I think it is the passion that is the main focus. I was faithful in my marriage of 14 years. Was I tempted? No. So, I guess I a get a bonus or trying and extra credit for succeeding.

I think I am old fashion guy wo enjoys monogamous relationships as they are less complicated if other women don't get in the way. Life is complicated enough. Life is a candy store and women are the sweetest item around. Men are like little boys and have a field day. Do women, probably, but I am not privy to their takes on all this. I tend to believe that they are more emotional about it and that is to their credit.

It is a natural as you want it to be. I have been with my husband for 5 years and can not even think about having sex with someone else. To ask if it human to be that passionate about a person is not the right question, you should ask if it is natural to not hold that passion for another person. Being truly in love is wonderful and a rewarding job

Of course it can work if both people are committed to it. Some people find "the ONE" when they are very young and others it takes a long while, but it can and does happen. I married my husband when I was 18 and am now 29. I couldn't imagine being with anyone else.

Never have to worry about your partner comparing you to another.

yes it works the most of the time. it is not love the most but an attraction due to slacking relations with your partner who has less understanding of your desirs and wishes. go for fidelity and you will have passion for your partner. bring out the best from it after having different experience with some one else.

I know where you are coming from with this question. I used to have the same question. But now I am married and couldn't even see myself with another man. It helps that my hubby is completely devoted to me and makes me feel so good about myself.

It works. We have desires, but the desires we have should be used as energy to fuel the current relationship and develop ourselves. If we didn't have the desire to be with other people, but only our spouse, no one would ever do anything to improve themselves and the world around them because we would be at home having sex. By not giving into to our fleshly desires the energy is channeled to our spirit being and we evolve as people and not like animals running around in heat. Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of having some new coochy, but that desire is not for the sake of new coochy, it is for the sake of reproducing in our spirits. I think it's unnatural. In the animal kingdom, there is only one known species that stays monogamous with a partner for life. ONE. Sexual promiscuity is the norm, not the exception.
