there is no way at all that I could be feeling my baby move yet. This is my fourth pregnancy and I am 15 weeks tomorrow, and i just sat on the couch and felt little flurries of movement for about 2 minutes straight. For those of you with multiple pregnancies under your belt, how soon did you feel movement with your second or third or fourth..etc?

He also then did laugh and say he learned long ago not to argue with motherly instincts. hes a good doctor, but i am pretty sure he is wrong on this one.

Your Doctor is WRONG by telling you that there is no way you could feel movement yet, but he was right when he said not to argue with a mother's instinct. The thing is........even though he is a doctor with years experience in his field, he has NEVER been pregnant, nor will he ever be therefore he CAN'T tell you that you haven't felt something that you know you have. It is common to feel the baby start to move between 15-20 weeks. Some women have felt it much sooner and I have no reason to question them.

Congrats!!

I'm pregnant with my first baby. But, I have read in a bunch of places that women with multiple pregnancies can feel their babies moving earlier than average. Something about them being more in-tuned with whats going on with their bodies having gone through it before.
Regardless to how much medical school he's been through, he's never had a uterus. So, he's just going by what he learned in a text book. He really shouldn't argue with motherly instincts.

Most of the time mothers who are in their second or more pregnancy feel the baby move earlier for the simple reason that they know and can recognize that feeling. I would completely believe you that by 15 weeks you could feel the baby moving. Isn't it a great feeling!!!!

whilst they have a heartbeat you're much less probable to miscarry, yet till 12 to fourteen weeks, the fee remains the comparable. it truly is because of the fact maximum miscarriges they don't discover a heartbeat ie they comprehend you miscarried. merely relax and stat calm.

I'm pregnant with my second and I agree----- I swear I KNOW I felt this baby move at around 13 weeks. It didn't just happen once either! I told my midwife and she just said "really??" and went on, but I don't think she believed me either.
