I am worried for a family member's safety and would like to find out if her spouse has obtained a gun or not.

Not sure how you would verify this if it isn't registered with the local police department, BUT he is planning to use the gun in an illegal manner, I would seriously doubt that it would be anything legal that he would have purchased.

On to my concern..... if you are that worried for your family member's safety, then I would definately try to talk to her, have her leave the situation she is currently in and take measure for her protection... i.e., restraining order, phone taps, etc.

Please do take your concerns lightly, because that is when bad things happen, and it possibly could be avoided.

Good Luck.

You can not. That is the part about freedom that some people worry about.

You do not have to have a licence to own a gun so there is no way anyone knows if you have bought one.

It's none of your business. According to Roe v. Wade we have the right to privacy.
