I was on amazon and looking for a book about dragons for my son and saw a book called Kyle Oaks and the author is 10 years old!! I did not know that you can be that young to write a book. I googled the book to see if it was for real and it looks like it is world wide. I ended up buying the book since my son likes books about kings and dragons and that Eragon book is too thick for him to read...has anyone else heard of this book or author? I am glad I found it...

Mattie Stepanek published his first book of poetry when he was about 12, but much of it had been written when he was much younger.

Sadly, Mattie died in 2004. But he was a wonderful person, and you'll be glad you got to know him through his writings.

I haven't heard of Kyle Oaks before but I did hear about a 4 year old prodigy who got a book published. He was on Oprah.

if a 10 year old were to write an entire book that is his own work, that is WOOOOW!!!
