You can get all of supplies which you need at any home improvement store. You might want to consult with a general contracter. The GC acts as the person in charge and arranges for the various trades to come in at the appropiate time to do their work so that there is very little down time or repaet visits to do work because the job site isn't ready for them. Don't forget to get your permits and inspections.

I had a contractor friend help me convert my garage into a theater a few years ago. I have since sold that house and I cannot stop thinking about that room.
The garage was set against the house as part of the structure but did not have access from anywhere in the house. The friend I hired, put a pocket door into the room that shared a wall with the garage and he extended the AC from that room down into the room, through the shared wall and back up into the new room's (garage) ceiling. He then boxed it all in and drywalled it and it looked very professional.
All that said, there are codes to deal with. Mainly the fact that a garage contains carbon monoxide and you have to prevent that from being able to enter the house. Make sure you get the codes checked out before you do anything....mine was not permitted so I ate some cash when it came time to sell. Do your homework and good luck.
Also, if you want someone to do the work....servicemagic.com is a resource for contractors. I used them for other jobs...they may be able to help.

Again, good luck!

Contact a good heating engineer; he will be able to give you a quote for doing the job and he will also be able to get all the materials that are necessary.

It will be expensive....be warned.
