My family went to Vegas when I was 13 (this was almost 10 years ago) and could walk around in the casinos by myself without being hasseled by security. The only thing they ever gave me a hard time about was when my parents were playing black jack and I tried to walk up to the table to ask them something. They didnt like that so much. But, all they did was give me a bit of a talking to and told me that if something like that came up in the future I should ask a staff member to get my parents for me.

Each hotel is different but NOT in the gaming or bar areas even to pass thru. Security may stop you and ask if you are a guest and if not walk you you. There is a 9pm curfew for anyone under 18. Why would you be interested in a hotel or do you mean the casino party? NO you cannot go there

Yes, you can walk in casinos. Vegas has a huge family atmosphere, if Kids wernt allowed, the appeal would be gone.
Each casino has carpet that will line where kids can walk and not. Like everyone else said, you cant stand and watch people gambling, but you can walk in and out of casinos.
When I was about 11 years old, we had to walk through the casino to get to the pool, and never once got stopped. You should not have any problems.

It really depends on the casino. Some casinos require everyone staying in the hotel to walk through at least some part of the casino floor in order to get to the elevators, buffets, shows, etc.
Some of the older casinos like the 'Station' casinos, have designated walkways for minors that go around the perimeter of the gaming floor.

I don't know where these people that are telling you "no" are getting their information from - I was employed as a floorperson in the Vegas casinos for 4 years - and yes, gaming regulations allow minors to be in the casinos, but they must keep moving. They are not allowed to stop on the gaming floor for any reason - and security will be quick to tell you that. As long as they are just walking through you will be fine - but do not stop to gamble, even if they keep walking!

I took my kids through the casino without any problem. Just keep on walking and don't stop to watch anyone playing, then there will be no problem. You would have to go through the casino to get from point A to point B, correct? Whether it is from the parking garage, elevators, hotel rooms, arcade, restaurants, etc., it will require some distance of walking. Hope this helps.

If you are under 21, you are not allowed inside a casino, anywhere in the country. It is the law. So, no, minors are not allowed to walk through casinos in Vegas.

Minors are allowed to walk through the casino--they can't can't linger. And by "linger" I mean move to anything slower than a walking pace. They have to be moving through the casino towards some destination, and then should keep to the walking paths that run through the casino (not within the areas of gaming). We travel to LV frequently (with and without children) and I've seen security hassle a kid who stopped to tie his shoe. T

Sure are a lot of misinformed people here. krobar969 (see above) had the correct answer which is that they can be in the casino, but cannot stop and watch. They must be just walking through on the appropriate walkways if such walkways are provided.

All the hotels are built in such a way that you have to walk throught the casino(atleast some part of it)...you cant stop at anyplace to watch anything , but you can certainly walk in all parts of the casino. Enjoy
