I have been watching weather from all over the country this winter and listened to what people from around the world are saying about their weather, too. It is incredible. No one is actually having the kind of winter they normally have - or summer, in some cases. I saw yesterday where water is being rationed in Australia. I know the temps here are more like spring temps and even days when we are in the 80s. It snowed one time, right after Thanksgiving and it was only about an inch. Since then nothing but warm temps. It's scary, alright. But it would take a world wide effort to help and you know that isn't going to happen.

Yes the weather is extremely nice for Dec/Jan in Illinois. We are in the corn belt and need the snow for the crops the following growing season.
Al-tho the weather is enjoyable and we could go without a coat on New Years Eve we should be concerned. Perhaps very concerned
BUT
There is nothing we can do about this as the Government has all the say.. and they will subsidize the farmers again and then the farmers won't have to plant do to the high risk of loosing money on crops PLUS .. they probably already have their money "for lost crops".
It then becomes an issue of higher prices in the grocery stores and at the gas pumps again.
So the little person ends up paying for it all... Let's all become farmers or government employees? They are the ones that will end up with all the money..

it truly is been very warmth surprising here on long island, long island. indoors the previous 3 months, i think of of i've got have been given worn a coat to artwork approximately 5 or 6 days. Temperatures have been indoors the Nineteen Forties, 50's or possibly into the 60's. in the famous (12/18) the temperature is indoors the bright 40's. The skiers in my place of artwork are complaining approximately no snowboarding regionally because of the certainty the resorts is merely not waiting to make snow because it truly is basically too warmth.

It is very unusually warm in WV for this season. In the mid-60s. We haven't had any accumulated snow yet and usually we would have had a couple blizzards and it should be freezing temps. I like the warmer weather but don't know that its good because of global warming.

Im feeling it here in Kentucky. Right now it is 50 and rising. Im not too concerned right now. It is just nature adjusting to changes. If ppl started dropping like flies, and there was a heat advisory every day, and water started going dry then I would be concerned. It is weird though.
