Ensure you are using genuine Epson cartridges.
Keep the heads clean using the built-in head-cleaning process.
Clean the printer inside and out (carefully) then keep it in a dust-free environment.

There should be a nozzle check facility in your epson printer utility's This will print a test page of colours and black to check for blockages.Clean the heads and print again if all is not correct .
It can take several cleaning cycles to clear particularly if you are not a regular user of the printer.
I have used branded replacement cartridges OK as they are much cheaper than epson originals, never had any luck with refills though
All the best.

Your heads are dirty.Use the cleaning tool on your operating system. If you use Linux run a program called mtools it tells you everything about your printer and you can clean your heads. Don't know what you use if you have Windoze so I guess there is an equivalent program.
Epson does not have heads on the cartridge so you will need to run the tools. If one colour is out you should have been stopped by the printer to print so I assume that is not the problem

Run the Epson maintenance program to clean the print electronics. Also make sure you are using genuine Epson cartridges; the generic cartridges are terrible!
Then reboot the system and try running the print job again. If that doenst work, you might have a bad cartridge. Replace it.

Red light probably indicates you need a new cartridge. The green light is that there is data waiting to be printed. When you initially installed the printer, you would have also installed with it status monitor etc and this would tell you what the flashing is. However, I suggest you go to Epson website and download the manual for this printer.

My experience with Epson is not too good as the heads are NOT part of the ink cartridge ,I would re place it with HP or Canon

There should be a head cleaning procedure or function on the printer. Also make sure you are not using refilled cartridges.

It might be a colour issue within the software you are printing out of.
If your colour problem is only in one software program then you know it is software colour profile issue.
