I just took my truck in after replacing all the horses on the truck and they said I should have burped it out. How would you go about doing that so that next time its not full of hot air like me.

Let the Mercedes owners know they have to fill the engine with coolant before starting it.. the older american engines would just suck fluid in.. burping air out.. but the Mercedes engines will overheat badly before they suck fluid in...

There is some pipe plug on the head to remove to fill the engine with coolant while letting the air escape...

You pretty much just run the engine with the radiator cap off and keep an eye on the level. Top it off whenever air burps up. You need to watch it till the thermostat opens and the hot water starts circulating through the radiator. Then make you always keep the overflow tank full. The engine will blow air into the tank when it heats up and suck water back out when it cools.
Ain't nobody worth a damn on mechanical stuff hasn't done things like that a hundred times. It just makes you remember it better next time.
