I have one and I did not receive my period this month. Should I be concerned? I took a pregnancy test and it came back negative. Could this affect my fertility?

I don't think it will effect your fertility or your cycle. UTIs effect the kidneys and the bladder. As long as it wasn't serious I don't think you should have a problem. Drink more water though. And it is normal for some women to skip their periods from time to time. I don't but my best friend does. Good luck!

A UTI or Urinary Tract Infection is an infection in your urinary tract. Any infection in your body can cause problems in other parts of your body. DO you have thrush. This could cause the menstrual cycle irregularity. If in doubt wait approximately 10 days post usual menstruation and if it still has not occured see a doctor

I doubt it, but some women just have problems with their periods when they are sick because it puts stress on your body. If you are one of these people, I guess it could cause it. Or maybe the antibiotic you are taking for your UTI? Sometimes these can cause problems. Or maybe you are just very worried about being pregnant. High mental stress can do this.

Get the UTI out first.
Then see.
