Adobe reader, is a program that allows you to read, edit, and create PDF documents. These type of documents are used mainly by websites, as they are more safe and secure to use than say "word" documents. If you wish to attain Adobe reader, you can go to www.adobe.com. I would suggest that you do attain the reader, as there is quite a lot on the internet that requires adobe reader.

Adobe or Acrobat reader is a program for displaying a PDF (portable document format) file. This is a format that was designed by Adobe and is self contained with fonts and pictures. It can be read within any operating system. There is usually an extension for your browser that allows these file types to be displayed directly within your browser.

I agree mostly with the guy above, it's a program more likely to see pdf documents, in my opinion it's a great mostly for reading e-books, because it's very comfortable, you can zoom the fonts, you can mark the pages. So, if you have the adobe reader, and you download a book with pdf format, you'll be able to read it with acrobat.
But I dont know if the program can be downloaded, if it can be, hell, then I lost my money in the installation CD lol.

adobe reader is a free program that companys used to upload thier applications, forms, and brochures. That way you can use the adobe to open and print an application for a job... or go to a government site and print out y our tax applications... City councils post newly passed ammendments... They put them on the adobe so it can copywrite and protect its documents and make them available to consumers online.. instead of physcially going to the office to get one to fill out.
