I was wondering how long did you really bleed after having a baby? Was it a natural birth or C-section? Were you miserable afterward? For how long?

i bled for 1.5 weeks pretty heavily. ive been lightly spotting since then...its been 3 weeks since the vaginal delivery of my daughter. i havent been miserable but certainly a lot more comfortable since its stopped!

I bleed about 2 1/2 to 3 weeks after and it was a natural birth. I had a touch of the postpartum blues for about 2-3 weeks as well. We also had some minor problems after we got home, but that's another story. Best of luck and congrats.

I had my daughter vaginally, with no complications. I bled heavily for one week, and very lightly for 6 weeks afterwards. No, I was not miserable.
I didn't have an episiotomy or any tearing, so I felt completely normal within a day or so.

About 3 weeks with my 1st and 2nd. 5 weeks with my 3rd. All were natural births and I was definently not miserable.

almost 4 weeks, and i had a natural birth, i was a wreck after and was on the verge of postpartum depression, but i woke up one day and felt better.
