am i pregnant?

Question

Took a pg test day period was due and result was positive. Had very slight brownish blood in underwear this morning. No bleeding since. now just 3 days since period was due pg test still positive. What is this blood and am i pg?

Congrats to you,your pg.Dont worry the blood you seen is just old blood that finally found it's way out.I have had that myself.Are you excited about being pg?Now you need to get a prenatal visit scheduled,so you can get your vitamins and get checked to see how far along you are and make sure everything is alright.

Most likely you are pregnant...I did that with my second child..I was in total denial..I spotted for the first month..On and off. But also if you have been depressed lately that could hold up your period..Or even stress. Sometimes if to much of either that can mess up your cycle. Believe me this is a topic I know much about.

You need to take a blood test. When you are bleeding, you cannot take an over the counter pregnancy test because the results will be compromised. Go to your doctor and have him do a blood test, it's the only way to find out if you are truly pregnant. If you don't have insurance, go to your local "Planned Parenthood" location. The pregnancy test(blood test) is I think about $15.

i am 14 wks pg, and I saw blood at like 5 wks. completely freaked out. I went to the ER, they said everything was fine. I just needed to rest, a few days before christmas it happened again but just a spot. I am sure u r fine a little bleeding happens sometimes when ur period is due nothing to worry about but u might want to tell ur doc just in case.

If you have the cash then buy an EPT test at the drug store near you that offers the best deals,and if money is tight and you have a store called Dollarworld then you go in there and they do have a pregnancy test for $1 that is just like the EPT test and will let you know an accurate answer..In additon,call a friend you really trust and confide this in them,that way you won't be finding out alone.

Congrats, yes you are pregnant. This could be "implantation bleeding," you are describing which is a normal expected phase of pregnancy, although it typically happens a week or so before your period is due.

Make an appointment with an OB-GYN for ASAP to make sure everything is going as it should be. And be sure to take prenatal vitamins every day!

I would say, that yes, you are pregnant, and spotting early on is perfectally normal because your body is adjusting to the new hormone levels.
however if you notice any of these other symptoms i would suggest seeking medical help ASAP-

Are there clots or tissue?
Is there pain? Where and how bad?
Is there fever?
Did the spotting begin after intercourse or is there pain with intercourse?
these can be symptoms of an etopic pregnancy.

But from the sound of it you are normal and healthy, so make an appointment with an OB/GYN for the soonest you can and get a your pregnancy confirmed and start on your prenatal vitamins!

Usually you wont get a false positive so yes you probably are pregnant. The brownish pinkish blood is implantation bleeding. Go see your doctor and congratulations!

If you got a positive preg test result and very very light bleeding it sounds like you are, but just to be safe I would set up an appt with your Dr. and make sure everything is okay. Best Wishes!

yes with my first child i was positive and the next day I had this brownish blood I asked the doctor and she told me in some women that when the plug that separates the Barby from the rest of the body is sealing itself off just ask your doc about that.good luck
