Curvy does not sound like fat girl, in my opinion. Curvy means what it says, curves.

Well, it's kind of like fat people accentuating the idea that they have boobs, but ignoring the same fact that they have a santa belly. Also the same people KNOW guys like hips such as J-Lo's, but can't understand they have hips that are just extra large.

Guys want curvy, so fat booby girls say curvy- but it's always a disappointment when you see them in person. Sort of like "oh, there's more of me to love".

naoize is the perfect example of a nerd in denial. He thinks if you say it in a tough way, or compare it to the opposite, then everyone will agree with him, or he'll get more fat girls. His gf is probably rotundly fat, so he tells her like that, and she believes him. Of course no one wants a skeleton- doesn't mean they want a fatty either. Truly desirable girls, physically speaking, are not that common.

yeah, sorta. That's one of those euphemisims for "fat" like "voluptous", "full-figured", "Rubenesque" and "more to love". I'm not saying that a "curvy" woman is FAT fat, but she's probably got a little meat on her bones. When you see the word "curvy" in an on-line dating profile, chances are the photos next to it (if there is one) will be of a large woman.

Curvy to me doesn't sound fat. To me it sounds like someone not skinny but not fat either. Just the right amount in the right places.

No. A curvy girl has a nice Coca-cola bottle or hourglass figure. Being curvy is appealing to myself. Fat is plainly fat, no other words for being so.

"Curvy" does not sound "fat".
I am a 5"5 girl, 36-28-36, and I consider myself curvy.

Beyonce is curvy. J Lo is curvy.

Mama Cass was fat. Carnie Wilson was and is again fat. Oprah has been fat. Shelly Winters (Poseidon Adventure) was fat. Roseanne was fat.

Got the difference?

Who cares? All you need is self validation that you're a siren if you're curvy; you're curvy (the right cushioning in the right places). Even if your a little plump so what, as long as you dig it and you're healthy. I'm short and have a bit more of me to love. I am healthy, I can run and climb flights of stairs without being winded.

Celebrate the fullness your figure bears and thank GOD that you aren't the type that look like a strung-out heroine addict prepubescent boy like Nichole Richie, Paris Hilton, or any nasty super model that you see in magazines. They need a sandwich.

Tommy Lee in his book noted that bigger chicks F@*# like champs.

**Doug's answer is great**
Following the yellow brick road huh....It was curvey!

But I would say no curvy does not sound or mean fat....I would agree its more of an hour glass figure with a little meat on the bones.

I am curvy! It doesn't mean fat, and most people I know would agree that it is a very good thing.
