We plan to stay in Orlando for a few days, then go on one of those short cruises to the Bahamas, and then finish off with a couple days either in Coco Beach or Ft. Lauderdale. I am hoping for a time that is still plenty warm enough to hang at the beach and swim, but isn't a too crazy busy or expensive time to go (not asking for much right!). Thanks!!!

I think either would be good. In April it would be a little warmer but more humid then in November. Have fun!

Both months are beautiful and still warm. As a matter of fact it's 79 degrees right now in Miami, 15 miles south of Ft. Lauderdale, but if you really like the beach, come down in April, just in case of a cold snap. April may be a bit more crowded because of spring break, the college students love Florida that time of year, so I suggest later in April. As far as the cruise to the Bahamas, you'll be fine either time of the year. Hope you have a great vacation and welcome to Florida.

I live in Fort Lauderdale and I would say the best time is November. The temps are still in the 80's in November, it's not as crowded as April with people visiting because of spring break and Easter, it rains a lot less (or at least it did this year), and you will most likely get cheaper hotel rates and not experience big crowds if you're planning to visit the theme parks in Orlando. Plus the weather is slightly cooler at nights so you'll be able to enjoy that too.

Well if you go in April you may get caught up in some Spring Break stuff but if you go in November you still run the risk of Hurricane (hurricane season in Florida is June 1 to Nov 30). Whether you go in April or November makes no difference in temperature. It will be about the same and it may be warm it may not be. May might be a better month if you can swing it. The ocean may be a bit warmer in November, but you have snowbirds starting to come down for the winter then so it may start getting a bit crowded.

I live in Florida and March and April are crazy because of Spring Break. November would probably be the better month. I know this year, the weather was still warm enough to go to the beach, but you're taking your chances at that time of year. Why don't you try scheduling for May. The weather is nice and the humidity is still realtively low.

Hello I live in Florida... Miami Florida. Best time would be in April.
April has great weather and in November you are playing with Hurricane Season. Yes it's late in the season, but for some reason the Hurricane Season is more active towards the end. April is a great time for Orlando. You should get one of those packages that includes one of their water parks. Hope you have a great time.

Don't go during the summer, because the heat and humidity are horrible, especially while waiting on long lines in Disney World. April won't be so bad with the humidity, but November would be a better time to go, as temperatures are on the milder side and not too hot nor humid.

November - the week before Thanksgiving is least crowded at WDW and other popular attractions in FL. Based on personal experience and the advice of our travel agent, this was a great time- weather was warm and sunny, enjoy the pool but not unbearably hot as FL can be. RE: April - you run the risk of college spring breaks and before/after Easter vacationers.

One more-either time is great. I personally like April best because everything is fresh and the weather is great. Check out the Spring Break schedule (I think it is the beginning of April this year) and schedule after it ends. November is good too but you run the chance of more rainy weather from storms.

I just moved here from NY and love it. July and August are way too hot for me and the crowds are too too many. Enjoy yourself no matter which month you choose.

April will be nice because the ocean will be warming up. November is when the water starts to get cooler.

Ideally, you'll need to go sometime in the summer (July or August) to get the warmest water temps, but it's also busy then as well as hurricane season.

I personally would choose April.
