Well, I highly doubt that there are doctors hanging out here just waiting to dispense free advice, so I will give it a go speaking from experience.
When I was taking the pill, if I would miss one by even a few hours, I would start spotting. I had to be sure to always take it everyday and at the same time. If I didn't, I would spot and bleed until I started the next pack, even while taking the active pills.
I'm sure you're still protected, but you may want to use backup bc both this month and next just to be sure...

I'm not a doctor, but I can tell you what happened when I experienced the same thing. Although I've had my period for years and been on the pill for 6plus years, I started spotting two weeks before my period. I ended up having numerous gyn visits and ultimately a sonogram. Since they found nothing life-threatening, their best explanations for this was:
Not taking pills on time
Stress
Common cysts that appear on ovaries
They also told me that every now and then your body just does something a little weird. Be sure you have it checked out if it persists to make sure you rule out serious conditions like ectopic pregnance. Try not to stress about it, as that may make it continue.

You need to get checked out at a Family Planning Clinic and get pregnancy tested, that is if you are sexually active. I still had a period for the first 3 mths during my pregnancy along with spotting. Or it could just be your body being a bit mixed up with the pill delay. Hope it all works out. Sure you will be fine.

You could be pregnant. When I was trying to get pregnant, a week before when my period was to start I was spotting blood and then when my Period never showed up I took a test and was pregnant. So I would take a pregnancy test just to make sure. Good luck
