That's going to be tough. I looked in my color files but my books only go back to the early 70's. Try a Jobber (auto paint store). They will probably have to call "headquarters" to see if anything is still on file, I'm sure it's there somewhere.

But the problem is this. In 1954 they were still using nitrocellulose lacquers or synthetic enamels from the factory. Those paint technologies are so outdated that there my be no formulation for your color. I would find a Jobber with a portable "spectrophotometer", where they can scan the old color and duplicate it in a newer paint technology such as a urethane base.

Thats a Two Tone Color. The number 556 is several colors. I take it is used for a Bel- Air. India Ivory is for the Upper body. Horizon Blue is for the Lower Body as well as the Wheel. You can look it up at this website.

I see it as being a two-tone, India Ivory and Horizon Blue based on that being a "Combination Number". You'll probably have to get this custom mixed at a body shop. See link for reference.

call a paint distributor and ask them. they should be able to look it up. Also research your car model to find out what factory colors it came in. That way you will be for sure it is the right color.

I would call a body shop or a GM dealership. One of those two would know.
