Some Planned Parenthoods do, some don't. It depends on the sources of funding.

Some require appointments, and some don't.

Best bet is to call and ask.

At the PP in Dover, DE, you can just walk in for a pregnancy test, and if you're under 20, it's free, and if you're older than that, it's a sliding fee based on your income.

No, PP does not give out test kits, but they will do the exam and real test for a very nominal fee; their rates are based on a sliding scale. PP is the best possible place for you to go if you are worried that you might be pregnant. They are non-judgmental, and will give you complete, safe, confidential and accurate information on ALL options. They will also help you with birth control in the event you are not pregnant and do not want to become pregnant.

I went to a planned parenthood by me and they tryed to charge me $15 dollars. I had to have proof of my pregnancy for the insurance I needed. All you do is go to your county's health clinic and they will do them. It was free if you are pregnant and $7 dollars if you aren't. Good luck to you.

Planned parenthood clinics have lost a great deal of funding since the republicans have gutted the services to low income people.

They do offer sliding fee scale pregnancy testing. The website is below and you can find the clinic nearest you. You can email them or call them for more information.

There are also sometimes free health clinics in your area. Google search for "free clinic" and your zip code or call social services to find one near you. They are staffed by regular doctors who volunteer there on their days off.

No free tests there they charge $17. If you look in the yellow pages of your area I am sure you will find other agencies who offer free ones. However if you are looking for proof of pregnancy for insurances you must go to PP and fork up the fee.

Your local pregnancy resource center gives free pregnancy testing. Often times, they also provide preliminary medical apponitments (like an ultrasound) depending on your circumstances. They do not provide nor refer for abotions, but they do have information about various types of abortion procedures. All of their information and services are provided free of charge and confidentially.
Find your local center here: www.pregnancycenters.org
You can call ahead of time or go in as a walk-in. You will take the test there.
Good luck and God bless!

they charge, at least in my area they do. There are all kinds of Christian places that offer free pregnancy testing, here the place is called New Life. If you go that route be prepared to be preached to. The lady administering my test had the gall to tell me she was going to heaven and people like me were going to hell. I smiled and nodded as I knew what I was getting into when I walked into their little office.
