I can't agree with sarge. A person has an unlimited capacity for love, and can love hundreds of others. What you do about loving someone is what you are asking about. I believe the key is to avoid hurting anyone else at all cost. If a person is honorable, they will not allow their feelings to rule their actions to the point that they cause someone else pain.

There's a big difference between love, infatuation, and lust. You can only truly love one person, but you can lust after or be infatuated with someone else. It is possible to love again after you've lost someone that you love (been there, done that, got the death certificate of my first wife and the ring from my second wife to show for it), but if you say that you love more than one person in your life or that you are "in love" with more than one person than what you feel for those people is probably NOT love.
