Kentucky is beautiful in parts, but I'd rather be in Texas.
Texas is eclectic and funky in Austin ("Keep Austin Weird",) cosmpolitan yet truly midwestern in Fort Worth, multicultural in Houston, the Riverwalk in San Antonio, the desert and mountains in the west, plains and canyons in the north, piney woods in the east, and Gulf in the southeast. And anyplace I've been to in TX has been very friendly!

BTW, I'm a very friendly and polite person by nature. I feel like I can be myself much more in Texas than in Kentucky, b/c people in KY are so closed.

By "closed," I mean that if you aren't from a certain town, people really don't want to associate w/ you. I've lived in the same town for 15 years, and people still look at me as an "outsider."

I live in Miami and I really don't like it. It may sound surprising to some when I say that Miami is a slum. It is the 5th poorest city in the continental US and in some places you can really tell. It is one small area of Miami that lives up to the preposterous lie of glamour that has been built up about this place, one tiny stretch of Beach and a few multi-million dollar homes of the criminally rich on a private island that us unfortunate woker ants can look at from a boat for $23 a shot! The spoken language here is not English and if you don't speak Spanish you are regarded as an imposter. It is far too big to be able to walk anywhere so most of it is all Highway, people drive like they want to die and a person can take his/her driver's test in Spanish even though all the street signs are in English. No one uses thier turn signal and there are about 10,000 too many cars for the roads so you can imagine what rush hour is like. South Beach sounds like a cool place to go but it really isn't - nothing but posers and wannbes,. It is ALWAYS hot and sunny here as well. Not an enjoyable hot and sunny but a clammy, humid, sticky, sweaty annoying hot and sunny.....not a fun place to live at all.
I used to want to live in New Orleans but that is off the cards now.
I could live in Boston, or Salem MS
I really would like to live in California - San Diego is beautiful and the people are very nice. Northern CA sounds nice.....I like the weather out there, nice and temperate.

I live in Northern California but if I had it my way I would love to move to Texas because that's where my two Sisters and most of my family lives. I really miss them a lot. For some reason when I went to visit my sisters I felt like I belonged in Texas. The people are really friendly there and I can't wait to visit Texas again. Hopefully soon!

Live in my home that I purchased as a very young woman and retired back to ... I wouldn't live anywhere else. I love my home (Near to the Gulf of Mexico, and yes, I did survive through multiple major hurricanes in 2004-2005), but even though I did have major repairs to the home because of the hurricanes, this is where I want to live the rest of my life. I love living rurally, and enjoy having at least an acre of land around my home.

I've lived in Colorado all my life. I lived in Colorado Springs most of my life. Now I live in a smaller town up in the mountains. My husbands job brought us here. I love this town. Not crowded, everyone is friendly, fresh air. Any day of the week a person can see wild life walking down the street. This is where I think I belong.

I live in Tucson. I love the culture and the nature here, but I'd really love to travel more around the world. I'd probably end up wanting to live in Europe for a little while. I also like California, as a slightly more realistic choice.

I just moved from Baton Rouge, LA to New Orleans and I love it so I probably wouldnt move anywhere else. People in the deep south like LA and TX are friendlier people. I will say this though "Dont mess with Texas" they'll execute you in a heartbeat.
Come on down

How witty! enable's see, i will choose people who have been real Yankees. None of those "weapons for hire" like Reggie Jackson. To me he won't be a real Yankee. How approximately Whitey Ford or Ron Guidry or Bernie Williams or Derek Jeter or Yogi Berra? wager i'd would desire to pass with Yogi.

I live in south eastern Michigan and other than the dreadful economy here I love it. My family is here. My granddaughters are here! IF I were to move, though, I would like to live in Savannah, Georgia. It is gorgeous and the people are really nice!
