It depends on what you are looking for in a holiday as everyone wants something different. There is a lot to do in Zante from clubs, bars and restaurants to great places to visit etc.
May/ June is the start of the season, the weather should be pretty good and there is plenty to do. I recommend going to smugglers cove.

Zante is famous for its beaches. The sea mey be still quite cold at that time, especially May. June would be better.

All Greece is very beautiful in May and if you intend to go to well-known destinations like Zante, the period you mention is the best. The weather will be fine, all tourist infrastructure will be functioning and you will have very good service without the crowds`.

We went to Zante in late September for 2 weeks....both of us being in our 40's we found it real relaxing...mind you we were on the east side...southern part is where all the action is so depending on what your looking for do your research. The island is small and can be driven in one day...waters are crystal clear, weather was great and still has that "Greek" charm. If your looking for loads of R&R this is the place...if you want to do shopping and see loads of historical sites...choose another island...

zante is a wonderful island with fantastic beaches and landscape,as someone else said the sea may be a little cold but you will have a great time anyway

Sorry not been in may/june but i went end of sept a few years ago and it was the best holiday ever x x x

Have been in may & october the sea is warmer in october & you can swim with the turtles, have a great holiday
