Slow death Hangings rather than boring lethal injections? And you bring in all the people the convicted person has hurt by his act of killing(s): friends, family members, political opponents, sectarian opponents, and let them verbally/physically torture the convicted person for a few hours right up to the point before he hangs & is begging you to kill him. Then video tape it all so you can
can recaputure the memories of that great day and show your kids how a proper execution is done? Is there anything sweeter than revenge? And what could be better to pass along to new generations of Iraqis & Americans? Remember what it says in the Bible: "an eye for an eye". Right? Now that's justice. Who needs a justice system when the Bible (US) & Quran (Iraq) are all the law you need to know.

How do you know that Saddam had his neck broken? Were you at the his execution? Did you hear it snap on the video? I hope it didn't break and that he slowly choked to death. That's the way all murderers should die.

Saddam's hanging was extremely quick and he was dead in less than a heartbeat, that's mainly because it was carried out by the Iraqi's, as for America taking this up, I hope not, you will probably balls it up completely, if America had been in charge of the execution, Saddam would have probably died laughing or would have said " give me the damn rope I'll do it myself" Just look at your electric chair, it hardly ever changed from its conception to its end, and as for the lethal injection you just about make a mess of that every time you use it, so as for making it pain-full for the convicted person, you do that well enough without even trying you bungling idiots, your sicko bible and revenge ramblings I will not comment on.

Sounds like you are trying to sound sarcastic. Death by hanging is not slow. It's fast. Secondly, the Bible says to turn the other cheek and surely, you aren't suggesting that societies be governed by that rule? There would be chaos. Let's just admit that the killing of Saddam on international tv is barbaric to say the least...It's scary to think that we have to the point of watching death as entertainment!

i do think the us should have more executions but for things like murder unless it was in defense or rape depending on the perps age and serious stuff like that instead of the stupid life in prison deal which every good citizen pays for thier food after that and they live but i dont believe it should be that bad i just think somthing fast and cheap should be done to them like shoot them or use a knife on them or whatever they dont go through alot of pain and there is no chance they can hurt someone else

i also agree with leogirl though

I think our way of performing the deed is okay. My problem is the number of appeals and the time we have to support these criminals until we do the deed. I favor Iraq's 30 day rule on this one.

If done right like in Saddam's case, they are not slow but quick. You drop, neck breaks, game over.
