Will it be painful?

I'm 39 weeks today. I started getting checked at 36 weeks, which is when you should have been too. You're supposed to be going once a week for the last four weeks. It will be very uncomfortable and it may even hurt a little. You'd be suprised how far them fingers have to go to feel what they need to feel. I'm a good 3cm and 80% effaced. They also stripped my membranes yesterday. Just relax and you should be fine. Think of it as one step closer to getting that baby out!! Good Luck!!

Let's just say that it's crazy how far up two fingers can go. It hurts for a minute, but then it's fine. I just keep thinking how much more its going to hurt getting this baby out! Good Luck

Quick, easy and with luck you'll find out you're slightly dilated. Get your naps in now while you still can!
