No, considering all the misery, pain and suffering he caused to other muslims, he should have been beheaded with a dull hunting knife like that one hostage was...took them 20 seconds to finally cut that poor engineer's head off.

Let's ask some of the people he murdered if his end was fair. When those people walk out of their graves and go back to their families, then I'll feel some sympathy for Saddam.

no, he should have been tortured and humiliated more.
It should have been televised worldwide and in the U.S. all the major networks should have carried it.
Dub in sounds should have been added like that "wah wha wha wah" after he died and looney tunes theme song as you start to view it. the people arond him should have been dressed in clown suits and they should have put a clown nose on saddam.
EDIT: to the inflammatory idiot above. how has our president "killed" anybody? While bush is no prize, saying that he "killed" soldiers because he sent them to war only shows how moronic you are. If you want to blast him for doing so then do it like a person with a modicum of intelligence.

From my point, its unfair since giving same kind of treatement(Killing) to Saddam for the same crime he has done(killing) is in no way making sense.

he was held on trial by his own country men, and found guilty and was hung...... it seems fair however i was not there and have not reviewed any of the court documents, so i do not know, but it was what the country had agreed on their in Iraq so i would say from an outsiders view looking in yes it was fair

iam against the death penalty.
people are naturally wicked, society creates these monsters ( he was abused by his stepfather when he was a child).
all said and done murder is murder, why do we kill murderers?
are we not murderers then?
If one does not believe in God or divine justice then i guess they would say yes to 'legal killing'
then again here in the west we have little right to this opinion, he has not made our lives hell.
this execution was inhumane. but some say so was he.

yes it was very fair you have to remembe he had his own son-inlaw killed so how do you think that made his daughter feel about her dad killing her husband she probally even enjoyed seeing him hanged that was the love of her life.
