I've driven cross country three times by myself. No, not a trucker, just prefer to drive than fly if I have the time. Once from Virginia Beach to Seattle. And then a round trip from Seattle to upstate NY and back. All done in a 1987 Honda Civic hatchback. Not the best road-trip car, but easy on fuel.
