Just see if he would be willing to read...sounds like his mind is closed, and he refuses to believe you ...knowledge is power

You do your thing, and he does his thing. Period.

Also ask him for the proof a black man during those oppressive times could make any white man pay taxes.

What authority did Martin Luther King have to do that. It shows ignorance on his part because it shows he has no idea how the government works.

Except for the conspiracy theories I am pretty sure he has.

Martin Luther King, the man, was considerably different from Martin Luther King, the image. Let me start out by saying that I am against racial discrimination. I believe in treating every person as an individual. I don't make distinctions by skin color.

That said, MLK attended the Highland Folk School in Monteagle, TN. This school was founded by two Communists, Myles Horton, Party Organizer in Tennessee, and Don West, Party Organizer in North Carolina.

From 1955 to 1960, King's secretary was Bayard Rustin, who had an interesting record. In 1936, he joined the Young Communsit League. He was convicted of draft-dodging and went to jail for two years in 1944. On 23 January, 1953, the Los Angeles Times reported Rustin's conviction for lewd vagrancy and sex perversion. He got sixty days. Rustin attended the 16th Convention of the Communist Party USA in February, 1957. In 1958, Rustin went to Moscow after which he organized King's first march on Washington, with THE WORKER (Communist newspaper) brazenly announced was a Communist Party project.

When Rustin left King's employe in 1961, he was replaced by Jack O'Dell, a member of the National Committee of the Communist Party, USA.

Space will not allow me to identify more of the Communists that King surrounded himself with, so I will move on to his womanizing. There is an FBI file that has been locked up. This file is alleged to have tapes of King's liasons with women accross he country. Even Ralph Abernathy acknowledged King's sexual encounters in a book he wrote several years ago.

One of the things that I find most distasteful about King is his comments about the US military. While American men were dying in Viet Nam, King compared them to the Nazis. How we can honor a man who insulted men who were dying for their country is beyond me.

I realize that this comment is not politically correct, but then, neither am I. Personally, I would rather be factually accurate than politically correct, any day.

King is not hero in my book. I am tired of hearing about race. I am tired of demonstrations. Its time we moved beyond that. Lets stop the devisivness and conflict. And most of all, let's learn the truth.

I believe that Dr. Martin Luther King, loved everybody, he just wanted his people to be treated as if they were people, not animals, tell your friend that, the reason why we have library's is so he can read about people and the things they did. He can also go visit the King Center, which is located in Atlanta Ga.

You call this guy a friend? He obviously isn't educated either. And Martin's dream wasn't just for black people, but for everyone, including Jews. Give a copy of the "I have a dream" speech (one of the best speeches every..always brings a tear to my eye) and tell him he is living proof that you can teach ingnorance...racism. And don't give power to idiots' words.

Martin Luther king was a communist and a womanizer. His PhD was a fraud also. He never earned that degree.

To me, he's basically a pretty crummy person.
