Are you an African trying to understand prejudice? There's prejudice all over the world, in Africa too. Here it is called racism. When one ignorant person thinks he is superior to another because, of all things, the colour of his skin. It's a form of tribalism, only on a worldwide scale.
As for calling people the names of animals - well, I like animals. Again, it is the ignorant who try to humiliate another person by such remarks.
I'm an African, too.
Peace.

there is nothing wrong with africa, people in the world think badly of africans because of how they are portrayed, there are actually rich places in africa, but of course the school and the media dont tell us that, they want us to believe that countries that have mostly caucasians are better, no offense!!!! but u need to educate yourself!!!! there was nothing wrong with africa, it was all beautiful at one time, thats why the europeans took over all of it except for ethiopia. it was good land and had great resources and still is in some parts

I don't quite understand your question but want to raise a point. It is against the law to call a black person a n****r (I won't say the word, it is unpleasant). But, I have heard many black people call other people the same thing, in a term of friendship or casual acquaintance. So if it is OK to call your friend that, why take offence at the word if someone else ays it?
All I'm trying to say is that if something is offensive, then don't use the term yourself. And if you can say this word to a friend, then don't get upset when someone says it to you. I just feel that some ethnic minorities change the rules to suit themselves.

there´s nothing wrong with them. I think your question is wrong: it should be the other way around: what´s wrong with the people that call animal names to africans and try to change the color of their skin? i think this way sounds better.
The only problem i think there is, are all the hungry children, the unnecessary wars that take place, the killing of indangered species, etc. Africa needs helps and we should do something about it.

Racism --- dating back to Simeon who helped Jesus carry the cross. The Romans were deeply jealous that it was a black man that had the courage to help carry the cross and felt that it was something he should not have done but it boiled down to jealousy as Satan was so jealous he was not number one in heaven and could not stand that as the Romans the Aryan ones who had been invaded by the GERMAN blood especially was the only one who had the COURAGE to help him bear that cross...Is it no coincidence that if you look up the number 23 as in psalm 23 Micheal Jordan, Micheal as in the archangel Micheal bears that number..."Yeah though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff comfort me." The archangel Micheal slayed Satan with his sword. He is the Defender of the Church and the angel of Judgement.

thats why you should move to CANADA: land of equality. Here, you could sue someone for calling africans such names. Blacks and whites are completely equal here!

There can't be a lot wrong with either or there wouldn't be so many people with European ancestors living there.
