I'm not scared of them, it's just that they're sort of disgusting and therefore i don't like them.

They carry diseases, salmonella, e-coli, tapeworms, round worms, (just to name a few) fear is not the answer I'd give, disgust is more factual, Cochroaches are an indication of filth in the environment.

People that have filthy houses attract filthy critters. Cochroaches thrive on filth.

Cochroaches are amazing critters! Did you know that if you chop the head off a Cochroach it would not die beacause of it. Instead it would take about a week to die as it would starve to death as it wont be able to eat anything. Its brains are actually dispersed throughout its body. True fact!

It's just the thought of them and the association they have with dirt and rubbish. They're revolting to look at and the fact that they're so hard to destroy and would apparently be the only surviving land-dwelling creatures left if an atom bomb were dropped gives them this invincibility which is not too reassuring! It's a good question because I know they can't hurt us but they are DISGUSTING!! I had one crawl over my foot once on holiday and I've never screamed so much!

are u sure they are more scared of us than we are of them? then u have never been to a house like my sister in laws. those roaches are not scared of me, they don't even run away if they see humans, thats how bold they are.

i am scared of them because they are hard to get rid of. they learned how to open your fridge and get in the food, they get into ur electronics and mess with the wires so that way u can't watch tv (lol). they can also bring on asthma attacks and cause illnesses. they nasty.

I don't know why people are scared of them, I'm not. Maybe it's because some of them fly, or because they look ugly. I used to live in a place where I saw a lot of cockroaches, so I wasn't really scared of them. I really don't know why people are.

Because they spread disease and and although i'm not scared of them i just don't think its particularly pleasant to have an infestation of hundreds of cockroaches running all over my house and my food, but each to their own, if thats what you like......

because they are disgusting and hideous and invasive and travel in groups and are impossible to get rid of and when you're five and step on one barefoot in the dark and hear it "crunch" you probably never get over it. ever.
