Saddam Hussein's execution, was he still alive...?

I saw the whole video of the execution, and after he is hanged they show his face, on the ground, and all these people are taking pictures of him, so his face is lightened by the flashes...and I know his eyes are meant to be open, also his mouth, because he was talking, but I could swear he was agonizing...cause I saw like his mouth moved a little...

If you saw the video, what do you think? Did he die instantly or did it took a little for him to die?

No, he died instantly. You can tell that by the way he was hanging. His neck had snapped. His mouth may have moved slightly as a reflex or from him swinging on the rope itself.

Normally, when someone is hanged, they either die when their neck snaps or they are still alive and have to wait until they strangle. In rare instances, the rope breaks... but not very often.

Trust me, he was dead.
