it's possible...with Pronger hurt, Leetch could provide some stability but it depends on how long Pronger will be sidelined. I think he is having his broken foot re-evaluated today.
Brodeur will retire a Devil...which is fine...he has won the Stanley Cup at least

Martin Brodeur will never be traded he staid in NJ for less money anywhere else in the league, if he wanted to he could of been making over $10 million a year if he was a money player but hes a true fan of the game and loves what he does. anyways he sing like a 5 year deal that would keep him in NJ till hes 40 years old. and what you say about the Devils well you know what that team wins all the time and that's with Brodeur. the Ducks are actually pretty boring team to watch if you ask me.
Cutts>>>> that was years ago, Guigere is facing way less shots then Brodeur is, and Brodeur GAA is way better. Guigere is lucky to have a team in front of him but any other team would trade to get Brodeur to be there #1 goalie.

ucks seek blueline help

With injured defensemen Francois Beauchemin and Chris Pronger on the shelf for at least four weeks, Anaheim Ducks GM Brian Burke is actively seeking blueline depth.
Available defensemen Nick Boyton and Eric Brewer are probably too expensive and Burke says he has not talked to Brian Leetch about making a Stanley Cup run in Southern California.

You don't need Leetch on PP when Pronger comes back
And Brodeur wouldn't leave a defensive minded team and system to go play on a team that's not, you don't look as good as a goalie that way........not that he's not great, more shutouts and wins with the Devils....

Well the Ducks are already set on the PP with Pronger and Neidermeyer. So I don't see any reason to bring in a very old guy who hasn't played for a season.
Brodeur will never ever leave the Devils. They will have him till he retires...
