one baby was born early, second baby was carried with the stitch. will she have this problem with each pregancy? and must she be in bed?

I assume you mean a cerclage - the stitch that holds the cervix closed during pregnancy. Yes, I am sure that she will need it. Once someone is diagnosed with incompetent cervix, she is likely to have that problem again. So she will most likely get the stitch...

she will most likely have to have it again. If she's had one before she's probably been diagnosed with Incompetent cervix, which is an ongoing problem that doesn't go away. The answer to the bed rest is also yes. I do recommend though, that if you want more clarification, and a more thorough explanation than anyone here can give you to talk to your doctor. He or she would be happy to answer any questions that you may have.

most likely this is a question for her obgyn not a random group of strangers who dont know all her medical history. nor are we trained in this field of expertise

its really up to her OB, not us. I would think that if she had to have it before then she will most likely need it again.
