when can i take the test???

Question

OK here is my question....my last period started on the 18th of dec. had intercourse on the 30th.....and since its only the 3rd of jan i wasnt sure when i can take the test and also can i be preg....wasnt sure if i was ovulating.

my cycle is always different so im not alwasy sure when im ovulating.....thats the reason why....if i am on 28 dyas then i should be ovulating around that time i had intercourse......thats the reason why i asked

your ovulating now. test once your period is late and in the meantime look up sites on your period and ovulation. you need to learn all about your cycle before having kids no offense

Hey you ovulate around 14 days after THE FIRST day of your period, if your roughly on a 28 day cycle..Not all females are the same though...But that is what most doctors will tell you. Also as others mentioned there are ovulating kits to use. I would have sex now...There is a great website and it's free. GO to webmd.com....click on the tab pregnancy and family....then getting pregnant....than go to ovulation calendar....you have to create a free account but i promise you it's worth it..Not only is the calendar cute it's great on givng ideas, when you can use a HPT (home pregnancy test) it gives you the days outa the month you should be having sex...All it asks you is when was the first day of your last period and how many days apart are your cycles...It's a great website and great calendar. One last thing other people have told me...The calendar will give you four days in a row to have sex...which days your a little fertile more etc....I've been told to try to do it the day before it says your a little fertile, then skip a day, then again, skip a day etc...until a day after your calendar says...To make it fun you should do it all the time...*laughs*....but if your trying you really wanna do it on the days that matter...anyways a few people have told me that if you skip a day the man can build up his sperm more...Not sure how true that is but i've been told that...Also, sperm can live up to 5 days in you...So your safe either way hun....GOOD LUCK

I would wait one more week. Have you used the ovulation predictor kits? They are pretty accurate. You can also buy pregnancy tests at the $1 store, which is nice because they can be expensive, especially when you want to check often!! Good luck

It's best to wait until the day after your period is due. Most tests can't detect the hormones any earlier.
